Chastain Park is an Atlanta neighborhood community that revolves around the 268-acre Chastain Memorial Park, the largest city park in Atlanta. The park offers residents a pool, horse park, golf course, tennis courts, a well-renowned restaurant and some of the finest luxury homes and mansions in Atlanta. Chastain Park is best known for Chastain Amphitheatre, Atlanta’s oldest outdoor music venue, opened in 1944 and attracts more than 200,000 spectators per season.

According to Forbes, Chastain Park is the ninth-wealthiest zip code in the nation. Home styles include Georgian, Traditional, European, Craftsman and Tudor as well as a few 1950s ranches speckled along the tree-lined streets. Because the neighborhood is part of Buckhead, residents have access to upscale dining and shopping at Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza.

Schools

Chastain Park is part of the Atlanta Public School System (APS) and close to many private schools in the area. Public school students who live within the Atlanta Public Schools district will attend three award-winning schools. Warren T. Jackson’s Elementary School has earned three coveted distinctions as a National Blue Ribbon School, a Georgia School of Excellence and an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. The partnership of Willis Sutton Middle and North Atlanta High School has received the prestigious International Baccalaureate World School Authorization for the Middle Years program (MYP).
